Bilbil Dervishi

Graduated from the Academy of Security, Tirana and the University “Luigj Gurakuqi” Shkodër, for Law, as well as completed the post-master’s studies “On security”. He has completed a series of qualifications in the fields of management and operational management in public security structures, human resource management, security policies, Community Policing, etc.

Holds the title “lawyer” since 2008.

Mr. Dervishi comes from a long experience working in the structures of the State Police, especially in operational management and human resources. He has extensive qualifications in the fields of public safety and law. He has participated and referred to several scientific conferences, as well as being the author of a number of articles and scientific publications in these fields.

In the period 2016 – 2021, he was a scientific researcher at the Scientific Research Center and a lecturer at the Faculty of Security and Investigation, at the Security Academy.

He is active and maintains a high profile in social engagements, both in the organization where he works, and in the community or free social organizations.

In the period 2018 – 2021, he was elected Secretary General of the International Police Association (International Police Association – IPA) – Albania Section.

Maintains a high profile in relations with the public and especially in fulfilling the responsibilities of state structures in relation to respecting the rights of employees and the families of those who are in charge of their duties or enjoy the status of Martyr of the Motherland.

From November 2021, he holds the position of advisor to the Minister of the Interior, for Education and Training, in the field of Public Security.

Key portfolio areas:

– Monitoring policies for increasing professionalism in the field of public safety through the process of education and continuous training;

– Coordination of the reform process for education and training in the field of public security.

Additional portfolio fields:

– Administration and follow-up of correspondence addressed to the Minister of the Interior;

– Coordination of relations with the families of employees who fell in the line of duty and Martyrs of the Motherland, who were part of the subordinate structures of the Ministry of the Interior.

He has a good knowledge of the French language.
