Ermal Kaleci

Mr. Ermal Kaleci is the Director of the Cabinet of the Minister of the Interior, from August 2024.

Previously, he worked as an Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister, as well as in the diplomatic field as First Secretary at the Consulate General of the Republic of Albania in Istanbul, Turkey.

Mr. Kaleci also held the position of Coordinating Advisor to the Executive General Director of the Durrës Port Authority in 2019.

In his previous duties, he served as a Contact Officer (Liaison) of the General Directorate of the State Police, in Turkey, as well as a Specialist in the Central Apparatus of the State Intelligence Service.He was born in 1981 and graduated in the security field at the Gendarmerie Academy in Turkey.

Mr. Kaleci has professional knowledge of English and Turkish.
